Students need... to be prepared for a 21st century workplace. to be able to collaberate with others to accomplish a goal. to be able to locate accurate, reliable information.
Technology of all kinds, Being able to communicate with others effectively, global awareness vs just Western thinking, health literacies, adaptiable to change.
We want students to be able to function social in the workforce. They should be technologically capable of competing for jobs in competitive markets. To love learning not just for a grade but for the desire to want more information.

A thorough background in technology. An ability to work independently and to be intrinsically motivated. Awareness of the world around them and the ability adapt.
I have a Masters Degree in Educational Technology and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership specializing in Instructional Technology. I taught Math for 18 years at various levels, mostly middle school and high school. I am now the Assistant Principal at McKeel Academy of Technology.
